ViSiPAP, the Visiting Scholars in Pediatric Anesthesia Program is a reciprocal exchange program for pediatric anesthesia fellows and faculty. The goals of ViSiPAP include promoting professional and academic development and providing opportunities for extramural networking and collaborating. ViSiPAP fosters a pediatric anesthesia community of practice. Exchanges target junior faculty to assist with promotion and retention. Combined fellow/faculty exchanges provide opportunities for mentorship and encourage fellows to pursue academic careers. Currently, over 26 pediatric anesthesia departments are participating in ViSiPAP.
We welcome interested pediatric anesthesia departments. More information can be found on the ViSiPAP website.
