The Finance & Membership Committee studies and recommends the means of strengthening the financial status of SPA, makes recommendations concerning investment of SPA funds, and assists the Secretary-Treasurer in the preparation of the annual budget, which shall be submitted by the Secretary-Treasurer to the Board of Directors for approval.  The committee develops and maintains liaison with corporate sponsors of educational grants.  The committee also oversees the maintenance of records of members and facilitates the processing of membership applications, as well as makes efforts to increase the numerical strength of SPA.  The committee also directs the membership recruitment, retention and engagement strategies for the Society.
