The Communications Committee acts as an advisory Committee to the Board on issues including the development of promotional materials and advises the Board on communications strategy, including social media.
In detail, the role of this committee will be too:
- Create content for a regular newsletter.
- Execute a social media strategy utilizing available platforms such as FaceBook and Twitter that supports member engagement, education and communication.
- Maintain an engaging, user-friendly website.
- Assist SPA sections, committees, interest groups and partner organizations with opportunities for communicating their work, needs or opportunities for member involvement.
