The Simulation SIG creates a network of contacts of key personnel and centers involved in pediatric anesthesiology simulation as well as become a venue to obtain documents and discuss pediatric anesthesiology simulation issues.  The SIG also maintains a standardized, national curriculum of disseminated simulation activities including within Interprofessional Education, Crisis Resource Management training related to pediatric anesthesiology as well as the development of standardized scenarios, assessment tools and development of multi-institutional collaboratives in research.  SIG members develop teaching activities such as presentations and workshops related to pediatric anesthesiology simulation, sponsored by the Simulation SIG, for national meetings such as at the SPA.
