Welcome, facilitators!
As you plan, make sure you give yourself enough time to feel comfortable with the content before facilitating a live session. Let’s dive in!
- Start by reviewing the document “How To Use The Curriculum” Guide & Facilitation Best Practices
- Pick your target audience, and make the “for participants” link to the topic available to them at least one week in advance
- Complete all the assigned pre-work content in the “for participants” section yourself (45 min)
- If you have time, browse around the “Resources and References” page in the “for participants” section—it’s a treasure-trove of curated content!
- Review the “Annotated Facilitator Guide” for your selected topic
- Set aside about 1 hour to facilitate your topic with the target participants
- During the facilitation session set the “Annotated Facilitator Guide” aside and only use the “Case Stem & Questions Facilitator Guide” to encourage participant discussion and discourage “the facilitator knows the answer.”
