As a part of its ongoing effort to engage leaders in pediatric anesthesia from around the world, the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia Education Committee nominates an exceptional individual, to be approved by the Board of Directors, to serve as the SPA Distinguished International Scholar. The program, created and approved by the SPA board, provides a $5,000 US travel stipend to attend and participate in the SPA-AAP Pediatric Anesthesiology meeting.
