The SPA Research Committee fosters the generation and propagation of novel research ideas in Pediatric Anesthesia. Members of this committee lead and participate in the review and selection of research grant applications for the SPA Young Investigator Award, review and select informative surveys for dissemination to the SPA membership and also provide statistics advice for members in need of this assistance following in depth discussion of expectations.
The committee members are also engaged in different Research related workshops and also participate in the review, selection and moderation of poster abstracts presented at the SPA annual meeting. A subcommittee of the Research committee is also working on determination of the important research questions in our field of Pediatric Anesthesia, to hopefully trigger and garner support for research endeavors in this area.
